This means that the contact time of the water to be purified is doubled by UVC rays. The UVC radiation in this PL lamp kills harmful algae, bacteria and disease-causing organisms and keeps algae formation under control. UVC dust cleaner ensures clear pond water within - usually - 14 days. The premise is that you combine the UVC dust purifier with a biological dust filter. UVC dust cleaner irradiates the pond water with UV-C radiation in a flow reactor. UVC dust cleaner changes the tertiary and quarter structures of algae through its UV radiation. This leads to the algae die. The algae clumps into larger particles and can be easily removed from the water cycle by mechanical dust filtration in the dust filter. UVC lamp life is between 7000 and 10000 operating hours. We therefore recommend replacing the UVC unit light source at the beginning of the season, when the water temperature in the pond rises.
