Jebao SK-50 Standing Koi Fish Pond Skimmer Surface Leaves Collector up to 60m²

The water surface is one of the most important parameters for a biologically well-functioning pond because here the gas exchange between water and air takes place (membrane layer for the oxygen / CO₂ exchange). The standing Pond skimmer SK-50 cleans the water surface of leaves, twigs, dust, and other dirt. A thin waterfilm is sucked off through the pump (not included in the delivery) so that a flow is generated, orientated in the direction of the installed skimmer. It keeps the water surface clean up to a pond surface of 50–60m². The coarse particles like leaves or grass are caught by the skimmer strainer and have to be removed regularly so that the performance of the skimmer can remain unaffected; consequently, the water surface is always clean, the nutrient load and algae formation are reduced. The water ring of the skimmer lying on the pond surface bridges water level differentials up to 100 mm. By means of a two-piece telescopic tube with an adjustment range of 650–850 mm and a ball joint at the filter head the skimmer SK-50 can be adapted to every water level and every bump of the pond bottom. The skimmer can be safely anchored by placing 10 kg fastening material (stones, gravel) at its foot.
